In this class students created sculptural forms that were an extension of their body. This piece could poetically/literally extend the abilities/desires/undesired desires of the student's existing body, or enclose, atomize, or form new relationships between their body and a particular space, site, climate etc. each student was asked to consider cultural attitudes in relation to the body, gender, the politics surrounding this discourse, fantasies, protection, healing apparati, safety, vulnerability, etc
